I have made this website so that people can know who my mom was and can see some of the pictures that I have of her. She was born Marie Victorina Badami on February 10, 1919 and died August 17, 2006, of natural causes after spending two years in a nursing home, California Special Care Center, in La Mesa, California. CSCC is a very nice facility that has wonderfully caring workers. She had suffered a debilitating stroke in August 2004, from which she never recovered.
The Family page describes my mom's parents, brothers, and sister, with pictures of the period before she was married.
The Marriage page describes my mom's marriage to my dad, David Bluit Gilliam, who was born and raised in Kentucky.
